The Voice of CCNU On the afternoon of May 14th, the exchange meeting on the construction of the mentorship relationship of the School of Sociology was held in Room 912 of the North Building of the Liberal Arts Research Building. Zeng Yanmei, the vice dean of the Graduate School, Tao Li, the deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of the university, and Wang Weixin, a teacher from the Center for Mental Health Education of College Students, were invited to give tutorial reports. All the teachers of the college attended the meeting, which was presided over by Feng Shengbing, the Party Secretary of the School of Sociology.

Tao Li, the deputy secretary of the school's Youth League Committee, took the "Challenge Cup" competition as a starting point and systematically introduced the competition rules and the school's award-winning situation in recent years. He elaborated on the crucial role of discipline competitions in talent cultivation by referring to the national special prize case and focusing on three dimensions: supporting the construction of "Double First-Class" universities, facilitating discipline evaluation, and promoting the development of teachers and students. And the requirements for the competition preparation work were mobilized and interpreted, providing valuable suggestions for the college to organize and guide students to participate in the competition.

Wang Weixin, a teacher from the College Students' Mental Health Education Center, gave an introduction on "Identification and Assistance of Psychological Problems". She emphasized the importance and methods of identifying psychological issues, and particularly recommended mental health resources both on and off campus, calling on teachers to show more care and respect to students and jointly safeguard the mental health defense line on campus.

Zeng Yanmei, the vice dean of the Graduate School, introduced and interpreted the contents of three aspects: the selection and appointment of supervisors, the construction of the mentor-student relationship, and the random inspection of dissertations from the perspective of the system. She also emphasized and reminded seven key issues including academic norms, teacher-student interaction, and the use of research funds. She pointed out that as the guides and mentors for students' growth and success, mentors should fulfill their duties with a strong sense of responsibility, strictly adhere to the bottom line of teaching and educating, and truly implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talent.

President Fu Ping delivered a concluding speech. He emphasized that the work of nurturing students needs to achieve a "three-dimensional integration" : igniting the fire of innovative practice through subject competitions, laying a solid foundation for growth with psychological support, and stabilizing the direction of nurturing students through the construction of teacher ethics. Build a high-quality educational ecosystem that combines academic depth, humanistic warmth and rich connotations.

Next, the college will deepen the concept of "student-centered", focus on the transformation of the college's educational philosophy, innovate the interactive model of guidance and learning, strive to build a healthy and harmonious "guidance and learning relationship" in the new era of colleges and universities, actively create a favorable academic atmosphere and educational environment, and promote the high-quality development of the college's talent cultivation system.
