To strengthen postgraduates' awareness of discipline and foster a clean and righteous campus environment, the the school of law held roll-call meetings for all master's students of the 2024 and 2023 grades on April 24th and 27th respectively. Through the "case-based discipline education" warning campaign, which involved analyzing typical cases and interpreting disciplinary regulations, the activities guided students to respect rules, maintain vigilance, and adhere to bottom lines. The roll-call meetings were chaired by Chen Zhichao, a part-time counselor for postgraduates in the school.

During the warning education session, Zhang Yongji, a full-time postgraduate counselor of the school of law, combined the Postgraduate Handbook, Central China Normal University the School of Law Student Leave Management Measures, and real cases to deliver an in-depth explanation across multiple dimensions, including academic integrity, daily management, and online behavior. For example, regarding academic misconduct, he cited a case where a postgraduate was deprived of the qualification to apply for a degree due to thesis plagiarism, emphasizing that academic research must strictly uphold the bottom line of integrity. In terms of daily management, he notified a recent incident where a student was given a circular criticism for violating dormitory management regulations by staying out at night, warning students to abide by management norms. The roll-call meetings adopted the form of "case analysis + regulation interpretation" to enhance the effectiveness of education.

The meeting also invited Zhang Gang, a lecturer at the the school of law, to focus on academic norms for postgraduates with the theme of "Thesis Proposal." Combining his own experience, Zhang Gang systematically reviewed the key points throughout the writing process of a master's thesis for the students and emphasized academic norm misunderstandings to be avoided.

In his concluding remarks, Zhang Yongji stressed that discipline education is a crucial part of postgraduate training, and academic ethics and norms are important manifestations of observing academic discipline. The School will continue to guide students to internalize disciplinary requirements as behavioral guidelines through a combination of "normalized education + special warnings," particularly by strengthening the professional ethics and moral cultivation that legal professionals should possess, in light of the characteristics of the law major.
It is reported that the the school of law will integrate discipline education into the entire process of postgraduate training. Through various forms such as theme class meetings, special lectures, and roll-call meetings, it will continuously deepen students' study and practice of party discipline, national laws, and school regulations, laying a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality legal talents with both moral integrity and professional competence.
