The Voice of CCNU On the afternoon of April 28, the special training series on mental health education of CCNU in 2022: “searching requirements with patterns—— application of systematic consulting skills in instructors’ work” was held in auditorium on the first floor of Yifu International Conference Center. The training was given by Yu Haijun, a full-time teacher in the College Students’ Mental Health Center, and presided over by Wu Jiancheng, deputy director of the student affairs department of the Party committee. A total of 105 people including the people in charge of student affairs in each training unit, instructors of undergraduates and graduates, head teachers and part of professional teachers participated in the study.
Yu shared from three aspects: building systems, seeking resources and striving for cooperation, and introduced the specific application of three assisted analysis tools: relationship wheel, genealogical map and mind map. During the training, he deepened the teachers' understanding of the system through basic theory learning, movie and television works observation and on-site practice, and combined with several typical and interesting cases to improve the training effect. He emphasized that the learning of systematic consulting skills did not require teachers and political cadres to become professional consultants, but to cultivate good resource and information providers with basic consulting skills and they should pay attention to respecting differences and striving for cooperation in their work.
During the interactive session, Yu Haijun answered the questions asked by the teachers in details, which provided the engaged teachers with a beneficial reference to expand their ideas of student affairs and ways to innovate.
Finally, Wu Jiancheng thanked the teachers who came to participate in the training and gave a summary speech: “Communication between parents and schools is the key and difficult point in the current psychological crisis intervention of college students. This training aims to arrange crisis intervention in advance, build a good mechanism and a harmonious education environment for joint cultivation of parents and school, take full advantage of joint efforts of parents and school, and promote the healthy growth of students' psychology. Focusing on building the connection between family and work, Mr. Yu introduced us various effective tools with very strong operability, and his recommendations of books and movie and television works also have high reference value.
