On the afternoon of May 2, Hao Fanghua, headmaster of CCNU and Chen Diming, deputy secretary of the Party committee of CCNU with their delegation came to the student dormitories of the School of History of CCNU to visit students. Ji Hong, secretary of the Party committee, Kang Wei, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Wei Wenxiang, deputy president of the School of History and several instructors went with them together.
President Hao first came to Dormitory 216, in Building 5 of Yuanbao Mountain Building with her delegations. She had a cordial conversation with the undergraduates and asked in details about their current situation of study and life, destination after graduation and their arrangements of a series of activities in the graduation season. Learning that everyone had signed a contract or would study for a master’s degree, she sent a message to them that she hoped they would continue working hard and contribute to the construction and development of their Alma Mater in the future.
Near the end of the conversation, the students showed their original calligraphy work to President Hao to express graduating students’ gratitude to their Alma Mater. President Hao said that history was an important humanities subject, calligraphy was an important part of traditional culture, and history was closely related to traditional culture. At the same time, she highly praised the students' good historical literacy and the outstanding special advantages of the subjects of our school.
Then, they came to Dormitory 1810, in Building 4 of the student dormitory of International Cultural Exchange Park to visit postgraduate students of our school. President Hao made a detailed acquaintance with their living environment of their dormitory, the current situation of their study and life, their eating habits, their employment destinations and so on. The atmosphere was lively, and the cordial conversation between President Hao and students brought warmth to those graduates who were about to leave the school.
During this visit, President Hao’s cordial and sincere greetings brought warm care to our students and formed a good effect of “visiting one student will warm the whole dormitory and drive the whole school”. Our school will continue going deep into the student group, listening to students’ voice, solve problems for students based on "Three-wide Education" system and made education with warmth.
