On March 14, in order to welcome the arrival of "March 15 International Consumer Rights Day", popularize relevant legal knowledge and enhance the awareness of teachers and students to protect their rights, the Youth Volunteers Association of School of Economics and Business Administration of Central China Normal University and the Rights Protection and Service Center jointly held the " Garden Party in March 15" in Nanhu Campus.
At nine o 'clock in the morning, the volunteers arrived at the activity shed and started preparations before the activity began in an orderly manner. Volunteers memorized the rules of the game in advance, placed the game props, and put posters and other items in place one by one. After the activity began, the volunteers warmly received the students who came to know the details and patiently introduced the content and purpose of the activity to them. The atmosphere of the activity was lively and there was filled with people. Under the orderly organization of volunteers, the students carried out a series of games related to safeguarding the rights and interests of consumers, such as “contest of nouns of rights and interests ", "knowledge contest" and "I will fight against counterfeits". During the activity, the students actively cooperated with the volunteers and followed their instructions. After the game, the volunteers would distribute the fine prizes such as key chains, pen pockets and card sets according to the students' performance.
After playing all the games, a student sighed: "Protecting the rights and interests of consumers is not such a lofty vocabulary which can actually be done in our daily life. Learning more about rights protection can not only effectively protect one's own rights, but also contribute to building a fairer society."In addition, many students wrote down their experiences in safeguarding their rights and interests on the "Rights Wall", so as to provide experience and reference for more people. Some students wrote down their own unfortunate experiences of deception and damage, which sounded the alarm for more people to protect their rights. This activity was mainly carried out in the form of games, which spread the correct way and importance of safeguarding rights to everyone in a relatively easy way. Students gained both fun and knowledge through teaching and fun.
Time passed quietly in the laughter of volunteers and students, and the "3•15" garden party came to an end. When asked about the experience of the event, one volunteer said, "I have learned a lot from today's event, not only about volunteering, but also about safeguarding consumer rights. This garden party activity is also closely related to my major, which makes me have a further understanding of the knowledge I have learned. As an administrator, I have the responsibility and obligation to spread the awareness of safeguarding rights to more people." Finally, the volunteers took a group photo and left the venue.
With the enthusiastic service of all the volunteers and the strong support of the students, this activity came to a successful end. The event not only strengthened the students' awareness of rational consumption and spread the knowledge of safeguarding rights, but also united the students' strength to make joint efforts for a fairer and better future. We hoped that through this activity, everyone could create a better atmosphere of "Love in China Normal University", and continued to pass on the spirit of volunteerism of "dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress".
