The Voice of CCNU On the morning of March 12, the “Counselor Growth Plan” of counselor salon in CCNU was held in room 3402, South Building, Building 3. The salon was sponsored by the Student Affairs Department of the Party committee and undertaken by the Counselor Growth and Cultivation Base, aiming at strengthening the construction of counselor team, making plans and guidance for counselor’s growth and development, and solving the difficulties and trouble in counselors' growth. Han Junhua, minister of the Student Affairs Department of the Party committee, Li Diao, vice minister of the Student Affairs Department of the Party committee, Chen Zhi from the Ideological and Political Affairs Office of the Student Affairs Department of the Party committee, and counselors of various colleges attended the activity. Yang Lingzhen, director of the counselor growth and cultivation base and deputy secretary of the Party committee of the School of Foreign Languages of CCNU, hosted the salon.
At the beginning of the activity, Li Diao introduced the overall plan for the development of counselors in CCNU during the 14th Five Year Plan period. By summing up the situation of counselor team building in 2019 and 2020, reflecting on the problems and shortcomings, he showed the determination to strengthen the counselor team building and focus on the growth and cultivation of the counselor team clear during the 14th Five Year Plan period. The first point of the determination was to help each counselor accurately find the direction of profession development, the second was to build a large platform, integrating resources and helping them make progress, the third was to do a good job of propaganda for counselor, and to launch a richer and more three-dimensional counselor model in the future.
Minister Han Junhua then instructed the counselors’ work around the two key words of "endogenous motivation" and "work value identity". She affirmed the outstanding ability and great responsibility of the counselor team. In the next step, the Student Affairs Department of the Party committee would help the counselors grow better in view of the problem of endogenous motivation. At the same time, Han pointed out that counselors should spare adequate time to reflect the works to find the way of future development while they were busy with routine work. She hoped that all counselors could make use of the resources around them to learn from excellent examples and be a shining light pursuer in student affairs. As the director of the base, Yang Lingzhen expressed her feelings about the work of counselors. She believed that counselors’ work can not be accomplished overnight, and also counselors should not put the cart before the horse. They should calm down and do a good job of substantive work.
In the third agenda, counselors exchanged their own work experiences and ideas, and looked forward to a better future. Wang Lu, counselor of School of Fine Arts, put forward suggestions on broadening training channels and increasing communication opportunities between brother schools. Wang Qianqian, counselor of the School of Education, expressed the demand for scientific research and application training. Lu Wen, counselor of the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Hu Yu, counselor of the Law School, Ren Jiahang, counselor of the School of Psychology, Zhao Yunyi, counselor of the School of Marxism, and Yang Yingjia, counselor of the College of Economics and Business Management, have also expressed their views on the growth plan and suggestions on team building.
