The Farewell Meeting for Enlistment in the Spring of 2021 was Successfully Held in CCNU

At 4:00 p.m. on March 12, 2021, the farewell meeting for enlistment in the spring of 2021 of CCNU was held at the Conference Room 403 of College Students Activity Center. Peng Shuangjie, vice president of CCNU, Han Junhua, minister of the Office of Student Affairs, Li Diao, vice minister of the Office of Student Affairs, deputy secretaries of the Party Committee of all schools, counselors of graduates, and five students who successfully enlisted in the army attended the farewell meeting. The meeting was presided over by Han Junhua.

At the beginning of the meeting, Han Junhua welcomed all the participants and introduced the meeting process and the basic information of the five enlistment students.

Then, as a representative of the military recruits， Guo Yingqi delivered a speech, first looking back on her college experiences. She said that she got the idea of being a soldier after seeing the recruitment information issued by the school. Additionally, she expressed her infinite yearning and love for the camp life and her determination of strictly observing military disciplines and performing the duties of a soldier.

Subsequently, Peng Shuangjie, vice president and Han Junhua, minister of the Office of Student Affairs, awarded the enlistment medals and national defense scholarships to the five enlistment students. After that, they took a group photo.

At the meeting, Peng Shuangjie offered warm congratulations to the five students who enlisted with honor, and summarized the achievements and deficiencies of CCNU in the spring of 2021. In addition, he put forward three requirements to the conscription work: first, pay attention to the recruitment information in time, propaganda policies to all students, and timely response to the needs of students; second, focus on the employment of graduates and encourage willing students to join the army; third, work actively and seize the recruitment seasons in spring and autumn. Finally, he expressed his hope for the students who enlisted in the army. He sincerely wished the five students to keep their original intentions of joining the army, be strict with themselves, and become excellent people's soldiers and promising graduates of CCNU.
