According to Headlines Today, the qualifier of adult women's basketball slam in the 14th National Games headed into the fourth match day, which was also the most exciting part of the whole competition.
Women's basketball team of Hubei stepped into the second stage with 2-1. And yesterday's game against Henan have proved to be the fiercest one in the division, in which Hubei lost by only one score. In the following two games Hubei did fairly well， wining by 21-15 and 21-17, respectively, against Liaoning and Sichuan. Consequently Hubei got second place in Group E and then competed with Heilongjiang, the third in Group F.
At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the game officially started. At the beginning Hubei performed amazingly at the outer line, gaining several points in a few minutes.With the help of high breakthrough rate, resulting in the leading edge all the time, players from Hubei seized all the chances, and won Hei longjiang by 21-10 in just half of the game time.In this match, of all the 8 three-pointers made by Hubei, 6 hit, with hit rate up to 75％. As a reward, women's basketball team of Hubei successfully obtained the third ticket straight to the final of adult women's basketball slam in National Games held in Shaanxi Province.

It is reported that at present teams which have been assured to the finals of adult women's basketball slam in National Games held in Shaanxi are as below: Henan, Zhejiang, Hubei, and Guangdong, with the other 11 teams fighting for the last 2 places at the third stage of the competition. And according to the rules, altogether 8 teams, including both the combined team for Olympics and the host team of Shaanxi which took one place in the finals, with the other 6 teams which have been qualified as well, entered the finals of adult women's basketball slam in the 14th National Games held in Shaanxi Province.
In this qualifier, Liu Xiaolei, young teacher from School of Physical Education, was the lead coach of women's basketball team of Hubei. With sheer enthusiasm and professional guidance, Coach Liu, as part of SPE, contributed a lot to the achievements of the team.
