The voice of CCNU In order to welcome the coming of Women’s Day and popularize some professional beauty knowledge among the students, the School of Political Science held the event of “Show your Beauty by Making up” on March 5th on the 3rd floor of NO.1 teaching building to raise students’ taste. The event invited Chen Shasha and Yang Ting, two professional dressers for instructions. Shao Lili, the deputy Party Secretary and Ren Aobo, the part-time instructor of the School of Political Science attended the event. The event was hosted by Zhao Jing, the deputy director of the office.
Shao Lili said that making up was not only a process of knowing and discovering oneself, but also a process of accepting oneself. As a college student, except for accomplishing the academy tasks, one should also raise his or her abilities in every aspects. Learning how to make up was not only a requirement for improving one’s image, but also a necessary skill after entering the society.
After the event began, Chen Shasha and Yang Ting started to give instructions to the present girls. Chen Shasha mainly focused on the steps of making up. The first step was cleaning the skin, which was the basis. Then came moisturizing and primer, and finally came the making up process of drawing eyebrow, eye shadow and putting on lipstick. She emphasized that the degree should be decided according to different occasions. After the instructions, the teachers chose models from the present students randomly. The audience watched every step closely and took part in the competition after practicing under the guidance of teachers.
In the competition, the competitors concentrated closely on making up, taking the tips that teachers had told them into practice. The instructors rated each competitor according to their behaviors, and awarded them with certificates.
This event has not only enriched the school life of students in the School of Political Science and improved their makeup skills, but also encouraged the students to love and respect themselves in a positive attitude. Through this meaningful event, the students in the school of Political Science would be bound to open the door of a new semester in a refreshed state.
