In the afternoon of November 12, the entry ceremony of 2020 new league members from School of Music was held on time. Hosted by the Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League of China, Liu Yuting and the Vice Minister of Organization Department of the Student League, Huang Zihan, this ceremony gathered 20 new league members, all from the grade2020.
Part 1 All Rise and Sing the National Anthem
New league members showed their respect and love to the People’s Republic of China with their expressions when the exciting March of the Volunteers was played.
Part 2 All Rise and Sing the League Anthem
“We are flowers of May, we embrace the era with youth.” New league members showed their determination to join the League, the passion to serve the League and the devotion to the country, when the League anthem was played.
Part 3 League Badge for the New League Members
By putting on the League Badge, the new members would be united with teenagers from every nation and head towards the direction the Party points under the guidance and protection of the Party. It’s a symbol of responsibility of the league members instead of a simple decoration or badge. Now they are glorified members of the League. What’s more, they are fighters with great responsibility in the new era.
Part 4 the Vow before Joining the League
“I volunteer to join in the Communist Youth League of China, firmly support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, abide by the Constitution of the League, implement the resolutions of the League, fulfill the obligations of the League members, strictly observe the discipline of the League, study hard, work actively, work hard first, enjoy life last and strive for the cause of communism.” They were speaking out their true thoughts by reading the Vow, and showing their determination by clenching their fists. The Vow isn’t just a slogan. Hope the new members can study hard, forge ahead and work practically and to be a responsible league member.
Part 5 Fill in the Application and the Youth League Card
New league members carefully filled in the application with the help of Liu Yuting, Huang Zihan and other members from the Organization Department.
Part 6 Final Word from the Hosts
“Joining in the Communist Youth League of China is just a new start of your lives. To be excellent teenagers requires continuous practice. Under the flag of the League which was red with martyrs’ blood you vowed, which was a spiritual baptism and solemn education for each one of you. Not only have you possessed a title, but also a responsibility to unite and lead your classmate to go forward. Finally, I wish you shall remember your vows today, and don’t let your parents, teachers, society and the people down. Please study hard, trust in science, pursue true knowledge,glorify the flag of the League and strive to make the country proud for you.”
In the end, the ceremony ended in the enthusiastic applause.
