The Gui Zhong Road, the dormitories Yuan Baoshan, the Concert Hall, the Peony Garden... All the scenes, objects, flowers and grass in the campus were vividly displayed in the live broadcast. On the morning of April 26, students of the grade 2019 of the School of Music participated in a special “campus tour” by live broadcast. Students who had left the campus for a long time could enjoy the beauty of campus without going outside. What’s more, the broadcast also attracted some of the graduates.
Affected by the pandemic, students of CCNU in Wuhan couldn’t go back to school for long and many students expressed they very missed the school. Knowing the feelings of students, concerning the good weather these days and the beauty of the school, a good idea occurred to counsellor Wu Wenjie: taking students wander around the campus by live broadcast. On the platform of the live broadcast, Wu took students enjoy the scenery of campus and this video also gained many “likes” from students.
Accompanied by live shot, the towering North Gate, the lush Gui Zhong Road, the cozy dormitories, beautiful peonies and many other scenes leap to the sight. Students also interacted actively on the platform. Some of them said humorously, “life is not easy, counsellor transferred to do live broadcast”. When the shot went to some places, some students expressed, “it is amazing that there is such place in our school that I haven’t been to. I will go there after going back to school”. Some other students talked about the variation from yellow to green of the leaves. Seeing the familiar campus, lots of students expressed their excitement on platform.
Wu regarded this live broadcast as an attempt which was based on students’ love toward school and the emotional needs. Moreover, Wu also hoped students could cherish the time and love school by watching this video.
