On the evening of April 25th, Law School, together with the hospital of CCNU, gave a lecture on how to prevent and control COVID-19 in universities on the platform Tencent’s Class. The undergraduates and graduates of Law School, with their parents, were engaged. The speaker, Yang Lixi, serves as deputy chief physician of the technology department in the school hospital. Ren Youzhou, the vice principal, Zhang Zhenye, director of the school hospital, Yang Chen, secretary of the party committee of Law School and all the counsellors entirely participated in the lecture, which was presided by Wan Zong, the deputy party secretary of Law School.

Doctor Yang introduced some basic knowledge, susceptible population and clinical manifestation of COVID-19. He laid emphasis on how to prevent the infection of COVID-19 and made specific introductions anf presentations about it. Also, he provided everyone present with brilliant suggestions. For instance, control the epidemic from three parts: the source of infection, the channel of infection and susceptible population; as to the infection source, people are supposed to find out earlier if infected or not, report earlier if yes, and receive early quarantine and treatment. Doctor Yang also instructed us to correctly wear a mask and demonstrated the method of washing hands with seven steps. At the same time, he gave us detailed and comprehensive attentions to follow when we return to work and campus after the epidemic, such as how to protect ourselves and go to the hospital if having a fever on the way back to campus or o campus.
In the interactive section, Doctor Yang answered in details to the questions raised by Wei Muying, a first-year graduate, and Kong Xintong, a junior. Students said that the report made by Doctor Yang helped them a lot in having a correct understanding if COVID-19 and pritecting themselves in a scientific way.

The vice principal Ren Youzhou made the closing remarks. He thought highly of this lecture, introduced the work CCNU has done to prevent and control COVID-19 as well as the plan made for students’ return. Finally, he expressed three hopes. First, we should raise awareness and do our part; Second, we should strictly observe the disciplines and strive to be the model; Third, we should be subject to arrangements and follow the instructions.
