THE VOICE OF CCNU-November 2th to 3th, a hundred or more university communities recruited their new members on the Gui Zhong road and this activity was themed as “Youngsters should love the party, a hundred or more communities play beautiful movements”. During the activity, the fountain square was surrounded by flowers in blossom and the Gui Zong road was crowded by people. On the stage, members from different communities were versatile; on the spot, hundred or more communities all demonstrated their excellent ability. Types of communities showed their charm in highly distinctive ways.
A fierce battle of tongue “We meet academics”
There were different types of communities during this activity, not only passionate performance clubs but low-key but meaningful academic communities. The academic communities don’t recruit students who major in that field only, they also welcome students from other majors to express their opinions and learn from each other. According to the situation of members, the association will organize professional skills training and answer questions about members' knowledge blind spots. In addition, the association for mathematical contests and the association for mathematical modeling organize competitions concerned each year to attract new students who are passionate for academic challenges.
The sports style “we are more than equal to tasks”
Compared with the "static" academic communities, sports communities also had a special "dynamic" style. In the crowd, the members of EST roller-skates community zipped through the streets in a line and wowed the crowd; dressed in martial arts wear and armor, the members of the wushu association showed the charm of Chinese martial arts with every gesture and motion.
On the fountain square, Liu Xinya of SKL skateboard association patiently guided every interested applicant. Talking about the reason why she joined SKL skateboard association, Liu Xinya said, "at first, I thought skateboarding was cool, but later I really got to know skateboarding, I was attracted by the special culture of skateboarding and the spirit of skateboarders." While other clubs had demonstrated their ability to attract new members, nonprofit communities showed no weakness. The first program on Wednesday afternoon was the sign language dance "You and Me in Those Years" brought by the members of the braille sign language association. The unique performance style attracted many audiences to stop and watch. Accompanied by singing, their flexible fingertips told the deaf and dumb people’s love to the world. As president Yao Huiran said, "we hope more caring people can join us and bring our love to special people". Flute association, guitar association, bosom friend harmonica association, ukulele association... From the early recruitment preparation to the excellent performance during the “big fight” time, every enthusiasm was worth stopping to enjoy. Autumn sun fell, the busy Gui Zhong road became quiet.
