On October 18th, the opening ceremony of 7th CISM Military World Games was solemnly held in Wuhan Sports Center. The international sports event, which takes place every four years since 1995, has aroused tons of attention all over the world. Accordingly, large amount of preparations have been put into the event.
第七届世界军人运动会于10月18日在武汉体育中心隆重开幕。这项自1995年起每四年举行一次的国际赛事，在全球范围内引起了高度关注。相应地，我们为这项赛事的举办也做了大量的准备工作。
How do different stadiums need to prepare for games and matches? What have universities in Wuhan done for the Games? Let's take CCNU and WUT for example to further know the preparations made for the event.
那具体到各不同的场馆，它们是如何来为军运会做准备的呢？武汉的高校又为军运会做出了什么呢？下面以华中师范大学和武汉理工大学为例，让我们来看看它们的前期准备和赛事承办工作。
CCNU, a school willing to contribute to public utilities, offered to select a group of excellent volunteers to help in the Games. 746 teachers and students were sent and distributed to different fields and positions. At the competition site, in the Tianhe Airport, in the railway stations, they were referees, voluntary guides and so on. 60 students from Department of Dance, School of Music took part in dancing in the opening ceremony. They spared the rest time of summer vacation and weekend for rehearsal in the last few months, making the performance amazing. Though CCNU did not serve as a stadium provider, it has done its own duty by participating in volunteering and performing.
华中师范大学作为一所愿为公共事业做出贡献的学校，主动选拔了一群优秀的志愿者，参与到此次军运会中去。我校746名师生被派到不同的场地和岗位上，在机场、火车站等地可见他们的身影，裁判员、引导员中也有他们的存在……我校音乐学院舞蹈系的60名同学参演了开场舞蹈。过去的几个月里，他们放弃了暑假和周末的休息时间来排练，才成就了舞台上精彩的表演。虽然华师不是此次军运会的比赛场馆提供者之一，但华师通过提供志愿服务和参与开幕表演做出了自己的贡献。
WUT, also a university in Wuhan, served in the Games as a stadium provider. The South Lake Campus of WUT, where the Judo competition was hosted, has made preparations for the Games from the aspects of transportation, dining and watching. The standard stadium provides audience with great feeling of watching the competitions. When it comes to dining, the school canteen is able to serve various food, using Alipay or WeChat Pay for convenience. Broad roads in campus make it possible for staff and audience to travel by car, bicycle or on foot.
同是武汉高校的武汉理工大学，在本届军运会中是比赛场地提供者之一。武汉理工大学的南湖校区承办此次的柔道比赛，在赛前就已从交通、进餐、观赛几个方面做了准备。其标准化的体育馆为观众提供了观赛的极致体验。看完比赛想进餐了怎么办？南湖校区的食堂早就准备了多种美味的食物，并支持支付宝和微信支付。校园里宽阔的公路满足了想乘车、骑自行车或者步行的工作人员和观众的愿望。
Everyone in Wuhan hopes to watch a match in the flesh and wants to do their own contribution to the Games. CCNU and WUT have set a good example for us to know how exactly an individual can do to commit to it. As the old saying goes, individuals together can make a difference. It is actually the small parts that make the event an overall success.
每一个在武汉的朋友都想到现场去看一场比赛，为军运会贡献自己的力量。华中师范大学和武汉理工大学为我们做了一个很好的示例，向我们展示了个人可以如何去为军运会出力。就像老话所说，聚沙成塔集腋成裘，一点一滴都有助于成功。正是每部分小努力的集合，才使得军运会获得整体的成功。
