Research Visit and Exchange | Li Diao from Office of Student Affairs Leads a Team to Conduct Special Research at universities in Xi'an

The Voice of CCNU From May 14 to 15, to steadily advance the construction of the Student Affairs Performance Improvement Year and broaden the horizons of the staff, Li Diao, Deputy Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Director of the Ideological and Political Education Division, led an 11-member team to conduct special research at universities in Xi'an. Relevant school officials in charge of student affairs and counselor representatives joined the visit.


The research group first arrived at Shaanxi Normal University and paid an on-site visit to the education venues of Xinyong Activity Center and the one-stop student community. Xin Xiangren, Director of the Office of Student Affairs of Shaanxi Normal University, elaborated on the university's six-in-one counselor training system, and focused on sharing its digital and intelligent education solution covering daily management, smart access control and early intervention assistance. Both sides held in-depth discussions on counselors' career development paths, application scenarios of AI technology in ideological and political education, and integration of educational functions in student communities.



The delegation then visited Xi'an Jiaotong University, touring the one-stop student communities and heart-to-heart service stations of Chongshi College and Wenzhi College. Zhang Dan, Director of the Student Affairs Department, systematically introduced the connotation construction of one-stop communities in the digital intelligence era, the college-school collaborative education model, and the achievements of the university's smart student community. The two sides conducted detailed exchanges on counselors' career development, smart communities and AI counselor applications.



At Chang'an University, the delegation inspected the Hongjian Garden exemplary one-stop student community. Ji Guobin, Director of the Student Affairs Department, shared student management practices from five dimensions including targeted ideological education and digital empowerment. He mainly introduced the counselor team building mechanism, innovative financial aid approaches and functional layout of the one-stop student community. The exchange offered valuable experience for our university to optimize counselor team construction and broaden the vision of community-based education.


The Xi'an tour targeted key and difficult issues in current student work, featuring targeted and effective research content. Next, the Office of Student Affairs will fully summarize research findings. Combined with the university’s actual conditions, it will accelerate the application of insights into counselor team development, AI-enabled ideological education innovation and upgrading of one-stop student communities, striving to elevate student work to a new level.
