The Voice of CCNU.From October 23rd to 24th, the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee organized a research delegation to Chongqing to participate in the National Forum of Directors of Student Affairs Departments of Higher Normal Universities 2025 and conduct research on the ideological and political education work for students at Chongqing University. Li Diao, Director of the Ideological and Political Education Division of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, Li Xianling, Deputy Director of the Ideological and Political Education Division, Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee from 3 training institutions including the School of Computer Science, and excellent counselor representatives from 3 units including the School of Politics and International Relations participated in the research and learning activities.
On the 23rd, the research delegation went to Chongqing Normal University to attend the National Forum of Directors of Student Affairs Departments of Higher Normal Universities 2025. A total of 219 student affairs cadres from 46 higher normal universities across the country participated in the conference, and in-depth policy interpretation, experience exchange and practical discussions were carried out around themes such as psychological education, financial aid-based education, cultural education, and the construction of "one-stop" student communities. A meeting flag handover ceremony was held at the conference, and Li Diao, Director of the Ideological and Political Education Division of the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, made a statement on behalf of the host institution of the next session of the National Forum of Directors of Student Affairs Departments of Higher Normal Universities. Director Li introduced the fine traditions and distinctive features of the school's ideological and political education work, and stated that relying on the advantages of the Training and Research Center for Ideological and Political Work Teams in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education (The Central China Normal University) in training and research, theoretical research, practical exploration, policy consultation and other aspects, the school will adhere to hosting the forum with a sense of mission, distinctive features, and value orientation, and work in the same direction and achieve common development and prosperity with brother universities across the country.
Digital Student Affairs Office introduced Chongqing University's "Smart Chongqing University Action Plan" from the aspects of smart environment, innovative development, digital transformation and basic capabilities. Subsequently, the two sides also conducted in-depth exchanges on the application of AI counselors and the construction of smart student affairs platforms. After the symposium, the research delegation also made an on-site visit to the Air-raid Shelter Patriotic Education Base of Chongqing University.
This research has injected new concepts and impetus into the innovative development of the school's ideological and political work, helping to further improve the construction of smart student affairs, optimize the development path of the counselor team, and promote the quality and efficiency of ideological and political education.
