The Voice of CCNU In the golden September, when the sky stretches high and clear, and the air carries a refreshing crispness, the slopes of Guizi Mountain come alive with vibrant energy. Against this picturesque backdrop, the distinct hues of camouflage uniforms dot the landscape, fluttering like banners of youthful determination. To temper the freshmen's will and cultivate their team spirit, the campus-wide march of the 2025 freshman military training at Central China Normal University was successfully held at the Guizi Mountain Campus on September 12.
At 10 a.m., under the gentle autumn sun, all participating freshmen gathered in front of Youming Gymnasium. The atmosphere was electric with anticipation. Each phalanx was in high spirits, showing high morale and vigorous vitality. At the command of the commander, the march team, like a long green dragon, stepped forward with firm and powerful strides, starting the march.
The route of this march went around the entire Guizi Mountain Campus. The team set off from Youming Gymnasium, passed through the East Campus Dormitory Area, Boya Square, the Library and other places, and arrived at the North Gate. Then they went past Building 8 and Guixiang Garden, followed the West Campus Dormitory Area, and finally returned to the starting point, successfully completing the dual test of will and physical strength.
During the march, the fluttering flags in the wind guided the way forward. From the East Campus to the West Campus, from the teaching buildings filled with the fragrance of books to the tree-shaded living areas, the freshmen's footprints covered every corner of the campus. Sweat soaked their uniforms, but their faces were filled with determination; their steps were somewhat heavy, yet the team always maintained high morale, helping each other with no one left behind. This was not only a physical challenge but also a vivid lesson in collectivism, fully demonstrating the spiritual outlook of Central China Normal University students characterized by "seeking truth and innovation, establishing morality and cultivating talents".
The campus-wide march was a complete success.
