The Voice of CCNU On the afternoon of April 26th, professor Wang Yaping, a doctoral supervisor of College of Physical Science and Technology, visited the “one-stop” student community comprehensive service center of building 18 in the east district to carry out the “Professor Face to Face” activity. He had a friendly face-to-face conversation with the six students, answering their questions and resolving their problems.

Professor Wang Yaping firstly shared his experiences of study and work in College of Physical Science and Technology. Then he discussed with students about how to balance professional learning and own hobbies. He advised that students should keep self-discipline and self-study, ensuring the quality of their professional courses while also exploring their own interests and strengths.
Faced with students’ confusion about the postgraduate entrance examination and employment, Professor Wang Yaping encouraged them to solidify their academic literacy and actively participate in various academic activities to prepare for the future postgraduate entrance examinations and employment.
Professor Wang Yaping talked about the pressure of schoolwork during the college. He believed that although the college life is not easy, it is still necessary to keep time for relaxation. He also proposed some practical methods to improve learning efficiency and relax the body and mind, in order to alleviate the study pressure on students. Then he analyzed the current situation and prospects of physics research, guiding students to pay attention to the forefront development of physics and actively engage in the construction and development of the discipline.
