April 7, 2024

Voice of CCNU In order to further enhance the awareness of all students in the prevention of telecommunication fraud and help them grasp effective preventive measures, and effectively do a good job in the education of network security for the students, all counselors of the School of Sociology carried out the theme education in the prevention of telecommunication fraud through the late call and theme class meeting in the formation combined with the online and offline, which were aimed to guide students to seriously learn the types of telecommunication fraud and preventive measures so as to have a clearer as well as more comprehensive understanding of telecommunication fraud.

The undergraduate counselors carried out the theme education in the prevention of telecommunications fraud through the late call for the undergraduate students

At first, all the counselors systematically introduced the patterns of manifestation and characteristics of telecommunication fraud to the students, in combination with PPT, short videos and real cases happening around them, and explained the "advanced means" and "suffocating force" of modern telecommunication fraud, such as online shopping fraud, online lottery fraud, pseudo identity fraud, single brush rebate fraud. After providing the sincere explanation and analysis of the real cases, the counselors guided the students to think about the ways to prevent telecommunications fraud, and had high expectations that students could keep in mind the anti-fraud eight words motto of "refuse those want money, refuse those give money" from this moment on.

The counselors also summarized the measures in the prevention of telecommunication fraud for the students, reminded the students not to make light of telecommunication, let alone had a fluke mind, as well as called on everyone to download and install the "national anti-fraud APP".

Zhai Juan, the graduate counselor, carried out the theme education in the prevention of telecommunications fraud through the theme class meeting for the graduate students

All counselors advocated that all students should establish a correct concept of consumption and protect personal information and credit information files, and had high expectations that students could increase communication with each other; when encountering information similar to telecommunication fraud, timely contact with teachers, parents and friends to avoid falling into the fraud fog of "One who is in the game is blind, while a bystander sees through everything".
