To convey and publicize the spirit of the Xi Jinping’s speech on the National Education Conference, guide the students to spread the fine Chinese tradition and practice the core socialist values in a better way, the public farewell activity “let’s express the gratitude to our teachers”, which was hosted by Chinese Foundation for Teacher Development as well as China Education Development Foundation and taken by the Teaching Examination Magazine and China Educational Television, was successfully held in College of Physical Science and Technology this year.
This activity was for all the student of College of Physical Science and Technology. It aimed to encourage the students to return to their primary schools or middle schools to convey their thanks to the teachers, communicate with each other, simultaneously, carry forward Chinese cultural spirit of respecting teachers, the old as well as kids, take the core socialist values into practice and cultivate the sense of gratitude of the students. Students were allowed to participate in these events online or offline under the discipline of epidemic prevention and control during the winter holiday.
The service team of College of Physical Science and Technology was divided into 4 groups, which are the practice group, report group, technique group and publication group. Till now, the members of the practice group have returned to their middle schools, shared their experience of learning with their schoolmates, also expressed their expectation to the juniors and their blessing to their previous teachers. The report group recorded the meeting moment with their teachers, who was extremely touched, and voiced their best wishes as well as gratitude to their teachers. The technique group has made fantastic videos and the publication group has written articles for these events.
A student from College of Physical Science and Technology, Liu Yuting, has written in her letter: “My teachers have done plenty of things for me, which was like the scenes of the films echoing in my brain. You are obscure but often did lots of good things for us. It was such a lucky thing for me to encounter you in one of the significant phrase of my life.”
Well, there was some other students saying: “Tough it was the responsibility for our teachers to treat us patiently, what he had done was far more than that. Now I am studying in a normal university and I hope I could become a teacher with sense of obligation, too.”
Through this activity, students have expressed their gratitude to the cultivation of their teachers. In the meantime, all of the members of practice group also want to say to their teachers that, the flowers you raised is blossoming now and we are going to settle down in the different regions of China to show our youth.
