The Youth of CCNU (Reporter Lu Junlin)-Recently, the Department of Education of Hubei Province announced the results of selection of the 7th Art Festival for college students of Hubei Province. Among the various works that CCNU submitted to the Department of Education of Hubei Province including the performances, art works, workshops for art practice, cases of reform and innovation of the aesthetic education and so on, our school won 8 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 2 awards for excellent creation and 5 awards for instructors. Our school won the award for excellent organization.
According to the relevant work spirit of the Ministry of Education, the Department of Education of Hubei Province issued The Notice on Holding the 7th Art Festival for College Students of Hubei Province and Participating in the 6th National Art Exhibition for College Students in October 2020. Our school attached great importance to it and the Youth League Committee of the school seriously organized the collection and selection of the works. Through the full mobilization of all units and the active participation of teachers and students, the school totally collected 80 works including the literary works, art works, workshops for art practice, cases of reform and innovation of the aesthetic education and submitted 9 performances, 10 art works, 2 workshops for art practice and 13 cases of reform and innovation of the aesthetic education to the the Department of Education of Hubei Province.
Among the submitted literary works, 5 works were performed in the Art Festival for College Students of Hubei Province at the end of December last year. About 150 participants attended. Among the 5 works, the chorus The Time, The Flag Is Floating performed by CCNU Art Troupe of college students was outstanding and won the qualification to participate in the 6th National Art Exhibition for college students. Among the submitted art works, the calligraphy The Verse for CCNU created by the graduate students of the School of Marxism and the micro film One Step Closer created by the undergraduate students of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education stood out and won the qualification to participate in the 6th National Art Exhibition for College Students.
Our school got great results in the 7th Art Festival for College Students of Hubei Province, which was an important achievement of strengthening the work of aesthetic education under the personnel training pattern of "educating five domains simultaneously". The Youth League Committee of the school will further carry forward the implementation of the measures of strengthening the aesthetic education of college students of CCNU in the new era (for trial implementation), taking the platform of "Shuren Cup" as carrier, carrying out rich practice activities for aesthetic education, promoting the comprehensive development of students' morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labor capability and creating a brand of aesthetic education with the unique characteristics of CCNU.
