From 14:30 pm to 15:30 pm on December 13, the sharing activity of the excellent senior which took "The Business People in the New Era" as the theme, was successfully held at 10127 in Nanhu Complex Building. The speaker of this activity was a representative of outstanding business people Zhang Jia. She studied accounting at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and now she studies in Wuhan University for MBA, and she is the winner of the National Scholarship and School Scholarship, a member of International Certified Accountant ACCA, and the judge of the Organizing Committee of the P&G Financial Management Trainee Famous Enterprise Challenge. This activity aimed to give some suggestions on the study and life in university for juniors.
Zhang Jia developed her sharing from three aspects: hot current events in finance and economics, six typical business models and how to build core competitiveness. At the beginning, Zhang Jia listed three typical cases: how Byte Beat hold the point to surpass Baidu in one fell swoop, U.S. stocks fusing and stall economics. She analyzed the industries that were related to economics according to the three examples. And then Zhang Jia briefly introduced Pricing strategy model, stakeholder analysis, PESTEL model, Porter's five Forces Model, Value chain model and SWOT model. She emphasized that the six models were required to be mastered and used skillfully for which was beneficial to our future study and work.
Then Zhang Jia told us how to improve core competitiveness from four aspects: GPA, competitions, certificates, and internships. She shared the way of learning professional courses with her college experience. She also pointed out that it was equally important to participate in competitions and obtain various high-quality certificates while maintaining a good GPA.
In the end, Zhang Jia concluded the goals that should be achieved every year in university and shared practical book lists, foreign newspapers and internship consulting. And she hoped that all the students who listened to the lecture would gain something, make their own university plans and improve their core competitiveness.
