The Voice of CCNU On the evening of November 8th, all students of grade 2018 minor languages attended the evening roll call of minor languages of School of Foreign Languages in classroom 8216, which was hosted by counselor Pan Yingzi. This evening roll calling consisted of two parts: the introduction of personal credit report and summary of 2020 sports meeting of School of Foreign Languages.

To start with, in order to help students have a direct cognition of fraudulent cases, Pan Yingzi gave some typical examples of the cases in which victims were college students, such as cheats in the second-hand goods sold in an e-commerce platform Xian Yu and online gambling. She reminded that students couldn’t be too careful in the face of quite a few frauds and the new fraud means. In addition, to help students gain a better understanding of the personal credit, Pan Yingzi elaborated the meaning of credit report and pointed out that a favorable credit could give you a quick access to loan, and its contents included loans and repayments, implementation of contracts, observing law and discipline and so on. Then Pan Yingzi made an explanation of the individual credit reporting system. It is a personal credit information sharing platform established by various commercial banks organized by the People's Bank of China. When commercial banks approve and issue personal loans, it is used to assess the credit rating of borrowers and manage credit risks. Jiang Xinyi, a student from grade 2018 who majors in Korean, said: “After the elaboration of Ms. Pan, I think I have a new understanding of personal credit. I will make efforts in keeping a favorable personal credit from now on.”

After overall demonstrating the introduction of personal credit report, president of grade 2018 Student Union of minor languages of School of Foreign Languages Liu Botong made a report titled Spread Sportsmanship and Show Youthful Charm to summarize the marvelous performances of both students and teachers in the sports meeting. During the sports meeting, School of Foreign Languages has won the sports morality prize, and the final scores of our female group ranked second and male group sixth in the university. What’s more, athletes of School of Foreign Languages have broken the previous records and played hard to win lots of prizes in both collective and individual events, including first prize in women’s radio calisthenics, second prize in one-minute sit-up and so on. After reviewing all amazing moments of School of Foreign Languages in the sports meeting, Liu Botong drew a conclusion that our school’s athletes had spread the sportsmanship which is friendship first and competition second and had embodied the youthful charm during the sports meeting.

In the end, Pan Yingzi praised the brilliant performances of all students of grade 2018 of minor languages in the sports meeting. She said: “The passionate cheering from students shows the energetic face of School of Foreign Languages.” (Reporter: Xie Zixuan)
