Dear students,
With the rise in temperature and the coming of the spring, the epidemic situation in Wuhan gradually gets better. The city will also return to the normal state from being sealed off. The accomplishment benefited from the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, the great contributions made by innumerable medical workers in their positions nationwide, and also benefited from the joint efforts made unremittingly by the whole country, as well as the sacrifice made by the people of Wuhan, a hero city, and the attention paid by them, to the interets of the whole.
Wuhan is a hero city. As students of CCNU in Wuhan, faced with the epidemic, you guys have taken your place. All the work in our university is being carried out stably, while we are waiting for a full recover. We are looking forward to the reunion with all the teachers and students in CCNU, and achieving the goals set for 2020 together.
We know, you guys are more than eager to go back to the beautiful campus soon. And during waiting for the return journey, we together make and keep promises.
We appoint to strengthen protection to ensure our safety. During the epidemic, we had a deep understanding of the value of our life: WE ONLY LIVE ONCE. Although at present the epidemic situation has got much better, we still cannot relax our vigilance and still need to protect ourselves well, with the work and production resumption and the larger scale of the turnover. For example, remember to frequently wash hands, always keep ventilation and do disinfection, wear a mask, and do not go to places crowded with people. Besides, we are supposed to continue to keep a close eye on the health conditions of ourselves and our families, and do self tests on fitness everyday. Additionally, we should keep what we have learned on health in this epidemic and apply the valuable knowledge to daily life in the future.
We appoint to pay more attention to the interets of the whole and take our responsibility. Contemporarily, we ought to pay close attention to the information released by our university, obey the rules about going back to the campus and the unified arrangements. All the students out of the campus, mustn't return without permissions. Now, the whole country is on the decisive stage against virus. Although the spread of the virus nationwide centred in Wuhan, has already been discouraged in general, the risk brought by imported cases is continuously increasing, together with the danger of scattered cases and breakout in some certain parts still existing. Consequently, the pressure on the prevention and control, against the epidemic in the university campus won't be reduced anymore. Any ommission and carelessness can wipe the achievements we made on the former stage in one day. As students of CCNU, we must stress on the overall situation and make it clear that a better situation doesn't mean the end, that the gradual sealingoff doesn't mean no risk, that the recovery of public transportation doesn't mean that the students in Wuhan can freely come back, that the restart of railway and civil aviation also doesn't mean that the schools can open at anytime.
We appoint to cherish the time and embrace a better self. At the present stage, please continue the independent learning, including reading, exercising, laboring and researching in a group to discipline and enrich yourself. Please also continue to make reasonable plans on study, properly allocate time and do a good job in the online learning to keep a balance among study, exercise and relax, according to the school's arrangements on teaching, scientific researches thesis writing...and as well, under the guidance of your teachers and instructors. Or you can voluntarily do what you can for your region. Additionally, give positive attention to the change of emotions of your schoolmates and friends. Be diligent to help yourself, be good at help each other, and be willing to ask for help. During the special period, we hope that you guys can learn to choose, to forgive, to think, to deal with emotions and get along well with others. Let us set a ring called” MEET A BETTER SELF” in heart to remind ourselves constantly: Seize the day and live it to the full!
The wintersweet, the sakura and the peony in CCNU have all bloomed, but also have faded. However, others are still in full blossom. Wuhan was paused while the blossom still continues. We have no idea when we can meet again on the campus, but we know, the next time, a better you!
