The Voice of CCNU Dormitories serve as a vital living space for university students and a crucial platform for campus cultural development. Positive dormitory culture subtly influences students' ideologies, behavioral patterns, and value orientations. To strengthen emotional bonds among students at the School of Physical Science and Technology, foster a collaborative dormitory growth community, and enhance the educational efficacy of student residential spaces, the school organized the inaugural "Dorm Dialogues: Sharing Beauty, Embracing Youth" event on the afternoon of March 29th at the Flow Space in East Zone Building 18. Participants included students from Dorm 525, 536, 505 in East Zone Building 1, Dorm 511 in East Zone Building 12, and Dorm 1922 in East Zone Building 18.

At the outset of the event, staff from the School Youth League Committee organized an ice-breaking session among the participating dormitories. Students from Dorm 536 in East Zone Building 1 took the lead, introducing their roommates and sharing each individual's hobbies along with amusing dorm anecdotes, which immediately bridged the distance between participants. Those from Dorm 511 in East Zone Building 12 and Dorm 525 in East Zone Building 1 also presented heartwarming moments from their daily lives.

With the host's announcement, the jigsaw collaboration challenge officially commenced. Staff provided each dormitory with approximately 500-piece puzzles, requiring four-member teams to complete assembly within the set timeframe. Dorm 505 in East Zone Building 1 ultimately emerged victorious after intense competition. During the process, roommates demonstrated clear division of labor and seamless coordination—some held up pieces for spatial alignment while others categorized fragments by color. When encountering challenges, they offered mutual encouragement, revised strategies, and renewed their efforts with determination.

In the closing session, participants gathered in a circle to share reflections. Yu Qifei, representative from Dorm 505 in East Zone Building 1, expressed: "We were deeply engaged throughout the challenge. In our fast-paced daily lives, I often subconsciously reach for my phone on weekends, but this jigsaw experience kept me fully immersed without electronic distractions. The activity has truly enhanced the warmth of our dorm relationships."

Dormitories are not merely living and academic "nests", but crucibles for character formation. The "Dorm Dialogues: Sharing Beauty, Embracing Youth" series represents the school's ongoing commitment to refining residential civilization. Moving forward, the school will build a dormitory growth community through a series of themed activities. It will guide dormitories to formulate dormitory conventions, organize micro-space activities in which dormitories participate as units, enrich the collective memories of dormitories, and create a magnetic field of collective honor. By leveraging the construction of dormitory culture, the college will promote the implementation of ideological guidance, mental health education, and career planning. It will integrate ideological and political education into the living environment and create a favorable ecosystem for educating students in dormitories.
