The meeting was presided over by Li Zhixiong, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, the participants collectively studied the spirit of President Xi Jinping's speech on promoting high-quality and full employment, gaining a deep understanding of the essential connotation and fundamental characteristics of promoting high-quality and full employment.
Zhao Xuanyi and Liu Junhui, counselors for the graduating class of 2024, reported on the one-time employment rate and the employment placement rate as of December 31, 2024. Wang Manyu, the undergraduate counselor for the graduating class of 2025, and Zhao Xuanyi, a graduate student, analyzed the current employment situation of the students.

Li Zhixiong reported on the efforts made for the specialized job fair for students majoring in Cultural Tourism, Agriculture, Economics, and Management for the graduating class of 2025, emphasizing the need to broaden resources and make precise efforts, and welcomed the leaders and teachers present to invite relevant enterprises and institutions to participate. Zhang Xiang, the department head of the Tourism Management Department, pointed out the importance of guiding students' graduation plans based on their actual situations and shared experiences in three directions: postgraduate entrance exams, guaranteed admission to graduate programs, and employment. Hu Jing, Wu Hao, Zhang Xuesong, and Zheng Wensheng engaged in a discussion focusing on the talent cultivation plans, curriculum settings, employment rates, and students' employment perspectives of various majors.

Liu Muxing emphasized that graduate program directors should shoulder the responsibility of employment work, implement a joint enrollment and employment mechanism for programs with lower placement rates, and optimize talent cultivation plans. Cao Huidong pointed out the need to summarize experiences, identify gaps, link employment rates to scholarship incentive measures, and for counselors to promptly follow up on students' employment situations.

In his speech, Wu Chengxia introduced the new situation facing the employment work for the graduating class of 2025. He emphasized the need to promptly rectify programs with lower employment quality, optimize enrollment and training plans, and approach employment work with a mindset of "not talking about difficulties, only talking about methods, and coming up with practical solutions," placing employment work at the center of graduation-related efforts.

In the next step, the College will firmly establish job responsibilities, prioritize improving the employment placement rate, and advance employment work according to the school's deployment. By expanding employment opportunities, improving assistance mechanisms, introducing incentive measures, and other initiatives, the College will steadily promote the employment work for the graduating class of 2025.
