Experience stories
Chasing light and dreams, chasing passion
Having a passion is the source of courage for me to face the challenges of reality. As a student transferring majors, choosing the major of ideological and political education is not only a rational consideration, but also an emotional choice. I really like the label "switching majors", which is evidence of my struggle for love and also a badge of acceptance by love. Professional learning is naturally like boating in a bitter sea, with no shortcuts to take and always without a clear starting point. Settle down to ponder the teacher's teaching ideas, organize a mind map of knowledge, and read classic academic works. Although the methods are simple, persistence is important. Over the past three years, relying on my passion for my major, I have successfully achieved four firsts: first place in professional credit score in my freshman year, first place in professional credit score in my sophomore year, first place in recommended credit score, and first place in comprehensive evaluation of recommended credits. In my spare time, books enrich my soul and broaden my horizons. I am a reader of the "omnivorous food party". Guided by my interests, I persist in reading 10 books every year, covering various categories such as literature, history, and art. With just four volumes of "Selected Works of Mao Zedong", I have compiled over 400 pages of 230000 words of notes.

Seeking goodness and excellence,
Striving for wholehearted dedication
My principle of action in conducting scientific research competitions is to do my best. By chance, I truly participated in scientific research competitions in my sophomore year. Under the guidance of ordinary teachers and Meng Fei, my colleagues and I started from scratch and explored learning together, forming a series of research results around the theme of patriotic education. Although the naive first attempt did not achieve the desired results, the spiritual satisfaction, precious friendship, and mentor's teachings gained through repeated literature reviews, discussions, collisions, and framework building are the most valuable assets. From then on, I attempted to combine course papers, social practices, and research competitions, turning classroom doubts into research topics, viewing research as an extension of classroom learning, focusing on one thing, delving deeper into one question, and striving to find the best outlet for each inspiration in the present. In the past three years, I have hosted and participated in 8 scientific research competitions, obtained multiple national and provincial-level awards, and two papers have won awards at the 4th Hubei Province Marxist Theory Undergraduate Forum. Six papers have been included in the journal "Seeking Truth" and "Collected Works of Huazhong Normal University Students".
Encountering mountains and water, encountering oneself
Understanding oneself is an unexpected gain for me in participating in practical activities. Connecting with publicity and volunteering, practical activities have become a main thread that runs through my college life. As the head of the school's Youth Research and Propaganda Department, I strive to serve as a stepping stone for all students to showcase their youthful charm; As the deputy captain of the Xinhuo Shiyan team, I strive to train normal students and lead the teaching of textbooks to set up a good stage... The most unforgettable practical experience was teaching with the Xinhuo Volunteer Teaching Team's Shiyan team. I did a pure job with a group of pure people. We won 2 awards from the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and published 11 articles in national and provincial media, totaling more than 50 articles. Together, we weaved an unforgettable memory. Adhering to the original aspiration of "this little fish cares, that little fish also cares", I insist on participating in volunteer activities every year to care for left behind children and safeguard the colorful childhood of children in poverty-stricken border areas. Through various practical activities, I have discovered my interests, weaknesses, and goals, and have also strengthened my desire to continue my studies. Overall, college life is rich and colorful, and friendship is one of the most important bright colors. My friends have provided me with a spiritual harbor, allowing me to learn and understand, surpass and accept myself.

Message and suggestion
I am still constantly asking myself, as one of the many beings, what is the meaning of my life. Now, I have an idea that cannot be called the answer: self meaning is the flower blooming on the street in the wind, the star shining in the sky, the light illuminating others in the corner, and the many nights that make up "me" but are destined not to be seen. Sending messages to younger students is also sending messages to our future selves. May we all cultivate our own fields well in the absurd narrative of notes.
Flowing water does not compete for the first place
The argument is endless
Don't stop striving in your footsteps
Although the road is long, it will come soon
Although things are difficult to do, they must be accomplished
May your future shine brightly for thousands of miles
