In order to further implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and solidly promote the construction of class teachers team, combining the major characteristics, the School of Life Sciences held four seminars on the theme of class teachers' work in different grades from March 10th to 19th, and invited leaders of the Office of Student Affairs of the Party Committee including Jin Xinli, Wu Jiancheng, Lang Dongpeng and Li Xianling as guests to attend the meeting and guide the work of class teachers of the college. Yao Ke, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, and counselors and class teachers of each grade attended the seminar.
The class teachers of Class 2022 communicated freely from aspects of students' curriculum, class construction and mental health around "students' adaptation"; The class teachers of Class 2021 talked about their understanding and practice around "study career planning" from aspects of major characteristics, students' personality and student activities. The class teachers of Class 2020 exchanged opinions and discussed on professional education, job hunting and employment around "personality development"; The class teachers of Class 2019 reported and discussed the work from the aspects of students' studies, teachers' educational skills, comprehensive quality and employment around "graduation employment". Yao Ke explained the Measures for the Administration of Class Teachers in School of Life Sciences (Trial) in detail , and conveyed the key points of work from three aspects: student safety, student employment and student development.
Jin Xinli thanked the class teachers of Class 2022 for their hard work, and highly affirmed the effectiveness of the class teacher work. He asked everyone to continue to practice "education with warmth" as the common pursuit of the education team. Wu Jiancheng expressed her commendation and gratitude for the class teachers’ work of Class 2021. She said that the class teachers' assistance to students' development was quite important and hoped that the college could give full play to the work efficiency of the class teachers' team and thoroughly practice the fundamental task of "establishing morality and cultivating talents". Lang Dongpeng affirmed the innovation and achievements of the college student work, praised the class teachers of Class 2020 for their earnest work attitude and professional ethics, and expected that the student work of the college would achieve new success with the cooperation of the political work team and the class teachers. Li Xianling thanked the class teachers of Class 2019 for their dedication and companionship in the past four years. She said that the class teacher played an important role that could not be underestimated, replaced and neglected. And she hoped that the college could continue to implement the fundamental task of "establishing morality and cultivating talents".
This work seminar promoted the communication between class teachers and facilitated the development of class construction in our college. In the future work of the class teachers, the School of Life Sciences would always take students as subjects, further innovate and optimize the working methods, implement the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating talents and practice "education with warmth".
