In order to enhance the political function and organizational power of the primary party organizations, while further consolidating the educational achievements under the theme of "Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind", the College of Economics & Business Management held the third exhibition and evaluation activity themed by "Good Cases of Party Branches, Good Party Lessons of Secretaries and Good Stories of Party Members" from April to May, 2020. The School Party Committee attached great importance to this activity. Nie Yaohua, Party Secretary, personally offered the guidance, Yan Lili, office staff member of section chief rank, and Zhou Bin, former party affairs officer took the responsibilities of planning and implementation specifically, actively selected, modified and improved the works and materials among the party branch of teachers and students and the party members to strictly control the quality. In the end, 10 works were submitted to the university, which is the largest number of submissions ever. At present, the result of the selection has been announced. Three works of the College of Economics & Business Management have won awards: The case work of the Teachers and Workers' Party Branch of the Department of Urban Economics, "Making Full Use of the Advantages of Scientific Researches, helping scientific Epidemic Prevention" won the second prize of the "Good Cases of the School Branches". Tang Xuebing, associate professor of economics department, won the second prize of "Good Stories of Party Members" for his deeds of "Thinking of the source of drinking water, Helping the poor and reporting rural Kindness". Chen Juan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the school, won the third prize of "Good Party Lessons of Secretaries" for her party lesson work "Always having disaster consciousness can achieve steady progress". It is known that the number of awards for the works is also the largest ever.
In this activity, all units of the university submitted a total of 109 works of "Good Cases of the School Branches", 49 works of "Good Party Lessons of Secretaries" and 142 works of "Good Stories of Party Members". Finally the school evaluated 5 excellent organization units, 30 good party branch cases, 30 good Party branch cases, 30 good Party branch cases and 30 good Party member stories. Invited by the Organization Department of the Party Committee of the College of Economics & Business Management, Yan Lili, the principal and professional organizer of the school, acted as the judge of this activity of exhibition and evaluation. She stated that the works exhibited this year were highly outstanding, which meant that all units paid lots of attention to the party building work. Additionally, several works of the school with the themes of "Academic War Against Epidemic" and "Professional Poverty Alleviation" have achieved nice results, which can not only be regarded as the high recognition of the party members and teachers' pragmatic, diligent and practical styles of study, but also the outstanding and display of the unique assets of the College of Economics & Business Management. In the future, the school should continue to exploit the particular advantages of combining party construction with majors, make the party construction work to a higher level, and strive to emerge more representative good cases, good stories, and good party courses.
