The Voice of CCNU On October 11th, the meeting of experience interchange for freshmen from the College of Psychology on the theme of “starting from the heart” was held in lecture hall 8060 in the multi-function building of Nanhu by the Discipline Department of the Student Union and the Youth League Committee of the College of Psychology at 4:30 p.m. In order to help the newcomers better adapt to the life on campus, three excellent seniors of grade 18 were invited to share the methods of planning and learning in university for freshmen of grade 20. The meeting was presided over by Wu Tong, leader of the Discipline Department.
The meeting preluded its contents with the wonderful introduction of the host and the warm applause of the students. Wang Jia from the normal class was the first to share her experience. As a gentle, elegant, calm and introverted girl, Wang Jia brought an empirical talk entitled "dreaming a normal dream and starting from the heart". “I want to talk about the normal class with you”, she said. Wang Jia introduced her main idea with a question: what kind of teacher do you want to be? The topic contained the path of development in university, the secrets of advance, courses and competitions, the employment of normal students, and the experience of working for the minor and getting the double degree. Meanwhile, some resources such as websites, the WeChat Official Accounts, which were worth paying attention to, were provided. When talking about the path of development in university, Wang Jia divided the college years into four periods including “the period of preparation and exploration ", "the period of breakthrough ", "the period of professional growth “and "the period of summary". She emphasized that the tasks should be completed in each period.
The second speaker was Xiao Huanrui from the English class. Her sharing was composed of "quick questions and quick answers" as well as "free questions". Secrets like "mind adjustment", "the methods of taking notes" and "time management" were the key points of her presentation. She adopted the way of "asking questions" in the whole sharing activity. Her humorous and interesting intonation further contributed to the climax of the atmosphere. When it came to what should be minded in learning, Xiao Huanrui said， "Be strict with your major and be responsible for yourself. Adapt to the circumstances and adjust constantly. "
Later, Dai Xinyu from the Chinese class shared her thoughts. She called herself an "also-ran of the National Award." She mentioned six aspects in her speech from "adapting to campus life" to "mental adjustment". When it came to the section of professional learning, Dai Xinyu classified the subjects, carefully, analyzed the learning methods, and especially emphasized the significance of learning to organize the files. She explained questions like "how to balance the student work" and "the advantages of tutorial system" based on her own experiences. Through her explanation, students harvested the meaningful perceptions and experience directly.
At the end of the activity, Ren Jiahang, a counselor of grade 20, concluded, "The three students invited in this meeting come from different types of classes.
